About Rocket’s Tail
Rocket’s Tail:
1). a blog about everything visible (and invisible) regarding the new media industry, 2). that which is visible from the ground after a rocket blasts off, 3). the 1989 song by British singer-songwriter Kate Bush.
This blog is created and developed by J. Sibley Law and strives to foster dialog regarding new media and includes interviews with movers and shakers in the business, coverage of events as they are happening, and previews of things we believe may help shape the industry’s future.
Why the Name?
“When I was ten years old we lived near Orlando, Florida. One morning, my dad lowered the paper, having just read that a rocket-launch was scheduled in about ten minutes some thirty miles away at Cape Kennedy Space Center. We walked to the top of our street and looked out at the sky back over our house. Soon this tiny little rocket soared into the sky. What amazed me was that the rocket’s tail was most of what we saw. Decades later, I still think that’s just amazing!”
I LOVE Kate Bush. That’s one of the best songs ever! 🙂
